Q:    Have U been trained 4 this?

A:    Yes, we opened in March of 2002 and we had training sessions with a professional.  We still have training sessions on occasion 2 learn new or more exotic piercings.

Q:    Do you need a license 4 this?

A:    No, in the state of Minnesota, there R no requirements 4 a license, but keep in mind that while "any1" can pick up a needle and jewelry, training is definitely recommended and we have it!  We have the proper training, equipment, and experience 2 do things right.

Q:    Do U use sterile equipment?

A:    Yes... All of our needles R prepackaged in sterile blister packs.  We NEVER re-use our needles, EVER!  Our forceps and tapers 4 sterilized in between uses with highly concentrated liquid sterilizers.  Our jewelry is sent 2 us sterilized and packaged... and we also let it sit in alcohol during set up so as 2 make sure they 4 clean.  We never re-use our jewelry either... which is why we do not take returns on our jewelry sold... unless there is a defect 2 it, in which case we either refund or replace it 4 U, and we throw the defective ones.

Q:    How do I avoid infections, and if I get 1, what do I do?

A:    2 avoid infections, U will want 2 follow the after-care instructions that we give you in writing before U leave.  2 see them online, U can go 2 our aftercare page and follow the instructions that U find there.  If U get an infection, U can try 2 clean it out like the instructions dictate.  If that is not working, leave Ur jewelry in & go C Ur doctor... s/he can prescribe antibiotics 2 clear it up... and if they recommend U take it out at that time, then take it out.  Do not take it out B4 going in 2 the doctor as the infection could get trapped under the skin and potentially get worse.

Q:    Do U take Ur job seriously?

A:    Yes.  We have fun and try 2 keep the conversation light, yet professional.  We R not doctors, but we do try 2 B as professional with how U R treated here.  We also do our best 2 keep Ur piercing confidential.  If some1 asks if we pierced "so and so", we usually say we cannot discuss that.  We R not under any obligation 2 have the privacy issues upheld, but we want 2.  We feel that if U want 2 tell some1, U will tell them... and we would love4 U 2 tell people so that they know we R here and that we do the great work that U had done...

Q:    Do I have 2 have a parent present if I am under 18?

A:    Yes.  There R NO exceptions 2 this, and we never break that.  If U look young, we card U.  If Ur parent is not able 2 watch, we still need them in the room 2 verify that we R not doing anything other than piercing U... it is 4 our protection, & Ur best interests.
